When I was going on a 2 week trip with my son, a friend mentioned she had used and was completely satisfied with Alternative Home Making, helping her husband while she was gone.
I called and talked to Amanda, told her my needs and she assured me her girls could do the job and we made an appointment for their services.
One of the girls who would be part of a 3 girl team came by and went through our home showing her where things were and outlining my wishes and concerns. They came exactly as planned and my sweetie was more than happy with their attention and care.
They prepared his lunch and dinner, helped with his showers and even walked with him during his exercise time. I can truly say they gave him a great social presence and made sure he was safe and taken care of.
I called every day and he told me all about his day, which made my worries about being gone disappear right away.
We have already planned to have Alternative Homemaking come in whenever I need someone to look after my sweetie. I know they will be a reliable company and can count on to them and put my mind at ease about his safety and making sure he has social companionship while I am gone!
